First question...when you say your "primary business account", where is this account located? Is it the Square account where you process payments? or your local bank checking account? I'm not sure where you're starting from, but there is a Square account/dashboard where you manage your Square account, and also shows the processing of credit card transactions. That money "sits" in your Square account until you transfer it out to an external banking account. See this for more info...

You can also set up a Square checking and savings accounts, that works the same as the external banking account. You would specify into which accounts you want your processed payments to go to. I hope this helps answer your question.
