How do I record sale on my computer, then have it show on my pos printer, so the customer pay

I am trying to use my laptop to create the sale at a craft show.  I purchased a terminal/printer so

that it would be easy for my customers to pay.  I hate using the small devices to navigate.

So far I think the devices are synced, but I cannot get the printer terminal to show the sale.

Thanks

If you would like to use the terminal for card processing but create sales from your laptop/desktop for screen size:

To make sure your devices are synced, try navigating in your dashboard to Payments & Invoices > Virtual Terminal > Settings > and scroll all the way down to "Devices'' with option to "Add Device Now."

When synced, you should be able to go to "Overview," just above Settings in Payments & Invoices > Virtual Terminal, and then click "Take a Payment" and choose the synced device as the Payment method.

That worked for my test!

Does that mean that the devises are permanently synced...or do I have to repeat your instructions each session or show?

If you are taking them on-the-go to various venues for craft shows and connecting them each time to unique IP addresses over a plentitude of wi-fi routers around your area, you may have to resync them when you arrive at a particular location, but they shouldn't have to be resynced at the same location on the same network again.

Thank you for your help.  My next show is the end of the month, and I want to be totally ready and familiar with how all this works

together!
