How do I know if a transaction was successful?

The title of this thread has been changed from: Transaction Not Showing on Square

 

I took my first Square payment today for a service I provided. The client said she's had troubles with her card when having it swiped. The card reader wouldn't read the card, so I had to enter the information manually. It appeared the payment processed & she confirmed that she received the receipt in her email. That was about 3 hours ago, but I'm not seeing the transaction on Square at all. It isn't in my reports or other pages people are told to check. How long should it take to show up? How do I find it? What do I do if it doesn't show up?

Hi there @Reiki1 👋 To view all of your transactions, you'll want to visit the transactions page of your Square Dashboard. If you aren't seeing the transaction when you log in to your account and click that link, make sure that the date in the top left-hand corner is set correctly!
