How do I give new customers a discount but when they have used that discount, they can’t use it again?
My online page is brand new and was looking to offer a discount to get my customers to order from there rather than other systems. How do I know wether they are new or not and give them a discount depending
Hey @Venditto_f - there are a couple of different ways to do this....
Firstly you could sign up to the email marketing options though the online dash and there is an option to send welcome discount codes (that are use once) to new subscribers. The email marketing is a paid upgrade.
Alternatively you could create a generic discount code and limits its use to once per customer.
Both of these options are open to a little bit of abuse as they're based on the email address used either for sign up or ordering - but one that's worth just taking on the chin (this is the same for all platforms really, and I'll be honest that it's a 'quirk' that I've used in the passed to get extra discounts too elsewhere).
