We’ve had two square registers for around 7 months now, and for the last three days our chip reader hasn’t worked on one of the registers. The swipe, tap, and manual entry work fine. It doesn’t recognize that a card has been inserted. How can I get the chip reader to work again?
you would have to contact square directly and see if it is still under warranty and what troubleshooting steps they have.
