I'm trying to figure out how to pay my two employees through Square at a 50% commission. Right now we're only using the PoS app, typing in the amount owed and ringing it up. How can I choose which employee gets the commission for each transaction? There's no indication of anything like that when I'm using the PoS app. Any kind of step-by-step explanation would be greatly appreciated- thanks so much!

First, from your dashboard go to Team -> Commissions. Define your commission rates for each employee, as well as the items (if restricting to certain items) and other settings that define your commission structure.
After that, the employee who should receive the commission for a sale must be the employee who closes it out on the POS. Either they must log in to the POS, or you (or someone) must log in using their employee number. The person who closes the transaction is always the person who receives the credit.
