How can I update the contact details included on a digital receipt?

I have a regular customer and whenI send him a receipt to his phone it shows wrong number. It actually shows my number (owner of square) How do I change the number on the receipt.

I have checked the customers details and it shows his personal mobile but on the receipt it shows my number.

Based on what you've described, it seems the digital receipt is being sent to the correct phone number, but the business contact number displayed on the receipt is incorrect. Is that right?

To correct this, you’ll need to update your Location settings. Here’s how:

1. Log into your online Square Dashboard and navigate to Account & Settings > My Business > Locations.


2. Select the location you’d like to update and scroll down to the Contact Details section to make sure the information is accurate.

Next, go to Payments on the left-hand menu and select Receipts. Here, you can toggle the information you want to display on receipts and confirm the correct phone number is shown.

If the issue is that payment details are linked to the wrong contact number (for instance, if a customer entered their number incorrectly when opting to receive a digital receipt), they can fix this by selecting Not Your Receipt on the digital receipt to unlink their details. The next time they make a purchase with a business using Square, they’ll be prompted to enter their information again.
