How can I stop new variations being created when I import items to my library?

Hi

I’m new to Square and have bought the Square register for our new bookshop.

I have been importing new orders into my Item library but every time I import a replacement item, with an identical SKU, Square creates a new variation of the item.

Does anyone know how I can prevent this happening?

I am sorry you are having issues when you import, that is certainly odd. Can you provide your CSV file that you are importing?
