GST No longer being applied after adding 3rd party POS Gymmaster

Hello,

We recently added our Square Terminal to a 3rd party software called Gymmaster. Gymmaster now acts as our booking system and POS for products. I have configured all of our GST settings in Gymmaster but for some reason when sales come across into Square they are being shown as GST free. The actual deposit amount is correct. However, there is $0.00 being recorded as GST.

Previous purchases done through our Square POS had no issues. I have set Square so GST is included on all current and future taxable items.

Does anyone know what I am missing or had a similar issue?

Thanks!

Laura

Hi @TheGolfRoom, thank you for your post. Welcome to the Square Community!

Unfortunately, since Gym Masters is not a managed partnership with Square, we are limited in regard to troubleshooting. After checking with our Account Services on this though, we have determined that this would be a tax setting within Gym Masters.

You may need to verify and adjust the tax settings directly from within the third-party platform, as Square does not control the taxes for third-party online stores. Square only receive the sales data sent from these platforms.

I am sorry I couldn't be of more help on this! I would definitely reach out to Gym Masters, if you continue to have issues. Please let me know if you end up having any other questions or concerns.
