I’m a developer who has implemented Square Web Payments into the payment portion of our software. The integration has been working well for quite some time. However, since last Friday, most of our clients have experienced a high rate of declines with the following error:
“GENERIC_DECLINE”, detail: “Authorization error: ‘GENERIC_DECLINE’”, category: “PAYMENT_METHOD_ERROR”
Has there been any recent changes to the API that might require updates on our end?
