Are any other sellers as frustrated as we are with the return process for Square, especially with split transactions (like a credit card and Square gift card). It's way to complicated and one reason We don't offer monetary refunds - just store credit, so refunding to their card or original form of payment isn't an option. Refunds is a reason I'd consider finding a new POS system.
We should be able to refund any amount to a gift card, and not be restricted to the amounts in the original form of payments. It's caused our managers a lot of frustration and extra work to manage the workaround. I don't understand these developers - it's like they have never worked in retail. TM
