Financial gifts to non profit from your website

I am a coffee roaster with a retail website. I am trying to give a percentage of sales to a non-profit from purchases. The non-profit will promote the sales/product on their website. Just trying to find a viable way to give them specific dollar amounts or percentages on the sales. Any insight would be appreciated.

Square Champion

Hello @tmfaulksr thanks for your post. Square doesn't provide a way to automatically collect or route donations such as this. I know other sellers have questioned before for similiar situations, like when a retail store/grocery asks customers to checkout and "round up" their sale for donation purposes.  The best solution would have to be a manual one where you calculate the sales and then submit a donation to this organization.

You do have the ability to create a "donation" link as an item which you could add to your website, but your customers would have to put that item in their cart before checking out, and you'd have to run a report (which is easy) on how much of that donation "item" you sold. You could also create just an item you could call it whatever you want, and it would work the same way as a donation link. Shoppers would add that item to their cart before checking out.

Maybe another Seller will have a better solution for you. Thank you for thinking about giving back to your community. I know there are many other community-minded Sellers in the forums, so I'm sure you'll have some luck making more connections here. Good luck to you!
