I would love some help please! I want to edit the exisiting text in the order confirmation, but I can't change any of it. I can get into the editing and I can add new text, but I can't make changes to existing text.
In particular, I really want to change the text for download information that says

Is it possible the notification might have gone to your client's junk mail folder?
Email notifications for orders should be on by default - I don't even think there is a way to turn them off. If it's not in junk mail I'd get in touch with our support team who can do some further testing - you can also try doing a test transaction yourself to see if the emails are sending, then refund the transaction afterwards to balance your books.

Client was me and its not in the junk. I since did 3 test emails and none worked, i havent received any of them. There is definitely a problem.

also if I sell via items (buy button created) in the scheduling tool vs online shop, will it still send the automated emails or can I avoid then that way? I’d rather not send automated emails if they contain incomplete/confusing information. It looks unprofessional. It’s disappointing that your developers will not fix this issue as it’s very limiting and I certainly will not recommended square to others for that reason.
I also wanted to pass along that it makes no sense that we can't edit the instructions. Every business is so different (especially food service?! 5 days for food would be gross). Square really needs to figure this out. Email confirmations can be really vital and Square should have no say in what we need to say about our own business...
This should be a quick fix so I hope this is really being passed to the Ecommerce team to change.
