Not only can we not initiate messages to customers who haven't messaged us first, I just realized today that Square isn't even notifying me when I do get messages from clients. I opened messages for the first time in about a week, just to test it out and see if it's fixed, and I found a ton of messages from clients that I had no idea were there because there was zero notification like normal. I'm probably going to be getting bad reviews because of at least one of them. Messages is a HUGE part of my business.
This is wildly unacceptable, Square. It's been over 3 weeks now, and to give us the absolute bare minimum in communication about this issue? I've been a loyal customer for over 3 years now but this looks like it's going to be the dealbreaker for me.
