We have Square registers connected with Ethernet. In settings, it says Ethernet is connected, but we are not connected. The Ethernet connection is strong - if I unplug from the hub and plug into my laptop I’m getting over 400 mbps.
you might try removing any wifi connection you have in place. I did have a problem a while back where the system kept defaulting to the wifi signal that no longer had internet connection instead of using the ethernet connection I was providing.
I figured this out - the issue was with our internet. The ethernet connections were not set up right. The ethernet was connected but not receiving an internet connection.
