Error: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Hi, I just purchased a domain on weebly and connected it to my previously free domain. The problem is that now I can't access the website! It shows this error code: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH.

I looked up various solutions online, but couldn't fix it. The wesbite's address is: https://www.giulicavalierephilosophy.com/

It'd be great if someone could help me! Thanks.

Hi @giulicavaliere,

Thanks for reaching out about this, and welcome to the Community!

There are three primary instances where I've come across this error in the past.

1. SSL had not been enabled in the site editor.

2. The site was not re-published after SSL was enabled.

3. Where DNS records were incorrectly configured.

I've had a look at your DNS records on who.is and at first glance, your records appear to be pointing in the right direction.

Could I ask that you first check that SSL is enabled within your Site Editor. Then try republishing your site

If you continue to have issues after that, just let me know and I'll bring it across to our eCom team for a closer look.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it was enabled! I disabled it, enabled it again and the publish the website, but I still get the same error. What can I do? thanks!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you here @giulicavaliere

Unfortunately I was unaware that the colleague I passed this case along to, was unexpectedly out of office. Please accept my sincere apologies for the oversight.

I can see that your site is now live, and the issue appears to have been resolved. However, if there is anything else you need help with, please don't hesitate to reach out.
