Employee Passcodes

I have two registers ... on board the boat for bar sales and one dockside in the ticket office for snacks.  Is there a way to setup two passcodes to correctly record sales for each terminal?

There are a couple of ways to do this:

The first would be to set up Team Management. You can assign passcodes to each employee or make master passcodes for each terminal. (Web Dashboard-> Team)

Square can do reporting specific to devices as well, though, and you don't need to enable any setting to make it happen.

From the Point of Sale:

• 3 bar menu button -> Reports.
• The default is to show all sales. Tap on the date and choose "This Device Only" from the list.

You can print or email reports to yourself from this screen

From the Web Dashboard:

• Reports section
• Display By button will show you a breakdown of each device's sales
• Filter By button will allow you to dig deeper into the sales

From the Dashboard App:

You can't filter by device unfortunately
