Does personal name need to be business owner?

Part of the signup process is to identify who you are…adding a personal name, home address info, etc…indicating that it is you that is the owner of the business or organization.  Wendy, our finance coordinator who is filling out this form, isn’t the owner.

 

As we are an apostolate of the Jesuits of English Canada, thus owned by them, we’re not sure how to deal with this step. How to other NFP or charitable groups deal with this?

I hope I can help with this. In order to enable card payments, we're required to record the information that identifies each person who opens an account. You may want to check in with your organization to see if there is a point-person who can take on the responsibility or review this with a tax professional for more clarity.
