Does Square accept Canadian Debit cards?

I am in Canada, and would like to know if and how it works in Canada 

Does square accept debit visa in Canada? Does it accept store bought prepaid credit cards?

If it does accept these cards - has anyone run into problems with it or does it work smoothly

Square does accept Interac debit cards thru tap only and up to $100 and you must have the NFC chip card reader.
