Do I need to give account access to my employee?

Hi

I would like to get a second reader to allow other staff members at my studio to collect payments. Do I ask them to sign in to the Square app with my Square account or is there a way to set them up with their own login to protect the privacy of my account? 

I’ve been searching the Help pages and can’t seem to find an answer for how to bring on staff with their own reader.

Hey there @aof 👋

 

I recommend you check out our Team Management feature - this will allow your employees to take payments via your Square account while limiting access to things on your account you'd prefer to keep private.

 

You can fine-tune the permissions and allow employees to log in on either a shared point of sale device or their own phones.
