Hi
Is it possible to set up/structure a discount in the following manner please:
In this scenario Item, 1/2/3 etc is a box which costs £80 item A/B/C etc is an accessory for use with the box that costs £14.95
Item 1 - Costs £80
Item 1 is then bundled with item A at £14.95 which triggers a bundle discount of £4.95
Item 2 is then bundled with item A&B which again is only a discount of £4.95
Item 3 is then bundled with item A/B&C which gives a discount of £14.95
Item A/B/C/D is a 4-for-3 discount which is £14.95
The discounts are only applicable when a box is purchased with an accessory, or 4 accessories are purchased together.
Is it possible to apply discounts like this, but when items are purchased with single units [no discount] that square can tell the difference?
Any help greatly appreciated
Thank you
Cheers
Frank
Hi Frank, thanks for your post!
I read this a few times and was looking at the different options here, but I'm not sure if we have exactly what you are looking for here.
It seems like you need a conditional discount, where a discount is automatically applied after adding specific items to a sale, which is not possible, unfortunately.
You could look at creating Items 1/2/3 as Items in your Dashboard, and then having A/B/C as item variations, so the price will change depending on which variation the customer selects.
Other than that, you could create a separate bundle of items priced for these specific instances.
I hope this helps, I'll leave our Discount FAQ here too in case you haven't seen it, it may give you some additional ideas! @justjonah
Hi Alegra
Thanks for your reply. Any idea when square would be adding such a discount option?
Thank you

I don't have a timeline, unfortunately @justjonah.
I know how important it is and it's a very frequent request so hopefully, it's something we'll be able to offer soon, as soon as I have any updates I'll be sure to share them on this thread.
