Delivery hours in shopping cart beyond what was set

Under Pickup and Delivery hours, I set the time from 9am-6m, but when I added items to the cart for delivery, it showed that the items would be delivered at 8pm, 10pm...

 

How can I make the shopping cart show the time up to 6pm or next day from 9am?

This should be a default to the next available delivery day. 

 

If it's showing different on your site, could you send a screenshot with what you're seeing?

I'm having the same problem, and it's massively frustrating. We're having to manually email customers with a delivery estimate, because there's no way to distinctly define the hours that delivery operates as separate from pickup hours. Also, it allows customers to expect deliveries after defined delivery & pickup hours, instead of pushing their order out to the next day. I'm actually considering dropping delivery because of how poorly integrated it is into the online store.

I can definitely understand your frustration.

 

We are working on separating pickup and delivery hours, so that will be an option for you soon.

 

In regards to the hours themselves, your pickup and shipping hours determine when the option will be shown to customers. These hours do not take into account the actual prep time and delivery time; if you don't want an actual delivery time to fall after 6PM, you'll want to set your hours to something earlier than that to account for your prep and delivery time.
