I recently purchased a Square Register for my pizza business. We offer both delivery and pickup services. Customers call us to place their delivery orders, and we use our own drivers to deliver their food to their address.
However, when I take a delivery order over the phone and input it into the Square system, the printed ticket (for the kitchen or the driver) does not show the customer’s address or phone number.
For delivery orders, it is crucial that the ticket includes the customer’s address and phone number so that our driver can see where to go and contact the customer if needed.
I have not been able to resolve this issue, and if there is no way to include this information on the ticket, I will have to return the system.
Can you please provide a solution for this?
@Oguzdemir A quick work around would be to make an item called delivery instructions: make the price 0 and you can add the address/instructions to the note.
Now if you are wanting to save customer info to automatically pull it up and have it print I will have to dig into that a little more for attaching it to a customer profile.

I just tested this on my system using Square for Retail.
I am not sure which Square App you are using or what your procedure is for taking an order, so I can not mention what you might be doing wrong only what I did to get the Receipt. Are Tickets different when printed than a receipt??? I do not know as I just print the receipt twice if I do a shipment since 95% of my POS sales are in store.
I gave a 100% discount so no Square fees would apply for this test.
