Customer Reviews - How to know when you have a pending review

I have just found where my reviews are and that I had 2 pending (some what disappointed compared to number of orders) but does Square not bother telling you anything useful. It would be very helpful if the home page had a section reviews = 50, Aproved = 45, Pending = 4, Rejected = 1. That way you would see you need to go to that section, instead of the labour intensive Square route of assuming everyone has a member of staff dedicated to each task or page. 

 

Work flow is very poor on Square in general.

Hi @NTastic and @doc_choc,

 

As the changes to customer reviews have been fairly recent, there isn't anything in the pipeline that would allow for review management directly on the Dashboard home screen. I do think it would be useful, so I'd encourage you to submit a feature request over on the Ideate board that more Sellers can get behind. 

 

If you haven't already, it might also be worth checking out the 3rd party integrations we support for review management and automation, on the Square App Marketplace

 

I'll keep you both posted if I hear of anything new, that might be of interest to you.

@NTastic the customer reviews used to be site completely withing the online dashboard, but there has been a period of transition of functionality to the Square Dashboard. So its kind of straddling the two systems at the moment. I'm sure at some point the reviews with make it to the Square dashboard in the marketing section, it's a matter of priority I suspect. The Marketing section has the Google Reviews, so hopefully something along these lines will end up here for the website reviews. Agreed it would be nice to have an overview page. We too have to intentionally head over periodically to the reviews section to see what's new, so I can see the frustration there. 😣

I think this would be interesting to raise with our product team, to see if we can better streamline the user experience. I'll see what I can do to shine a light on the pain points, and suggestions you've both raised.
