Close Drawer Missing Difference Between Actual Vs. Expected Cash In Drawer

Not sure where to post this complaint, but …

Since the update this past week, when I’m closing my drawer, the difference between what expected in drawer and what’s actually in drawer has been removed from the close out screen.

When you put it your cash under the box it’ll tell you what the expected amount is, (example, I enter $250 and under the box it’ll say $249.83 is expected). But No where on the screen will it display the actually difference.

Once I close the drawer, I can go into the drawer history and select the drawer I just closed and if I scroll to the bottom of that screen I’ll see the difference displayed.

This really needs to be visible before closing the drawer out.

Also, while in drawer history, and bringing up a drawer there is a new option to email the closed drawer report .. I hit the button to email, and box pops up with the email address correctly inputted, and I hit send… and no email is sent.

Hi @drenn!

Thanks for flagging these updates to the user experience, I’ll make sure to share this with our team for further review.

When you have a moment, could you please:

  • Include a screenshot showing an example of what you’re seeing?
  • Confirm which app you’re using and the device it’s running on?

The more detail and examples we can provide to our Product Teams, the quicker they can investigate, and ideally, implement a fix or restore previous functionality.

I’ll keep an eye out for your reply so we can get more eyes on this change. Really appreciate you taking the time to let us know!
