Chip reader not detected

Hi Everyone I am one very frustrated Girl Scout cookie mom. I cannot reach anyone live on the phone at Square and am ready to lose my cookies. Despite my phone and chip reader being charged and the app current on my phone, I am unable to accept sales. Phone tells me to "connect a reader to swipe, insert, or tap". Help?

A contactless reader and Iphone.  Thankfully I was able to reach a very helpful customer support person.  We had to do a hard reset of my reader and change some settings in the square app.  Phew!
