Checks" button have disappeared from Square Register screen today

"Checks" button have disappeared from Square Register screen today. 

Trying to figure out what happened. following the instruction on line.

Square Dashboard

 

 

  1. Sign in to Square Dashboard, then go to Settings > Device Management.
  2. Click Profiles > Device profiles.
  3. Select a Square for Restaurants device profile.
  4. Click Manage under Settings.
  5. Click Open Checks then toggle on Use on this profile.
  6. Adjust your open checks preferences and click Save.

    my question is where is "device profiles"? only printer profiles show up?

    and where is "open checks"

we are on Square for Restaurants Plus

 

Just realize the system update and the "checks" button is replaced by "orders" button. That means the system does not supply the "open checks" function any more, this is the other stupid update. 

we may keyin customer names by open checks, now we have to choose table, and then keyin the customer name.

and after system update, the bug " discont disapper after split bill" still not be fixed.

Device Profiles are now called Points of Sale in Square. Go to Settings → Devices → Points of Sale, select your device, then look for Service Settings. You’ll find the Open Checks option there. If it’s missing, make sure you’re using Square for Restaurants.
