The Change Due display only remains on the screen for about 3 seconds when a person inserts cash. This is too short to be useful.
Is there any way to increase the display time of Change Due? This is quite a problem and has only occurred in relatively recent updates.

Hi @Heartmoon. I fired up my standard POS and ran a test cash transaction. Assuming that your “change due” screen looks like the one below (version 6.27.1), I left it alone for two minutes and it did not budge. I had to press the new sale button to move on.
Question. Are you using a Stand, or Register? If you are using Stand, have you tried signing out of the POS, deleting and re-installing it, and trying again? That nuclear option often works to fix inexplicable things.
If none of that helps, or if you are using Register, I’d recommend reaching out to Square Support via phone. Since it works for me, I don’t think it is related to an update.
