Categories in Item Library gone

All my categories that I had set up in my item library are now gone.  When I add a new item I do not have any categories to chose from.  Existing items still have their categories, and the sales report still shows categories, but I cannot add a new item to my old categories.  What happened?  Not sure when this started.  Don't add many new items any more.

This does sound off, but it's difficult to pinpoint what may be happening without looking at your account with you, which we aren't able to do via the Seller Community.
