Categories are not being created/deleted on website. Can create/delete in squareup, however they do not add/delete on website. All cache, etc. has been cleared. Multiple computers and laptop have been tried with no luck getting categories to create. Square support has not been any help as of yet. Their only reply was to clear cache, etc. which was done even before contacting them. Anyone else have this issue?

There is a current disruption that is being worked on that is causing Square Sync to have a longer-than-expected delay (in some instances up to an hour and a half). I recommend adding your categories and waiting for a bit to confirm if they end up appearing on the website.

Hi there @Woodsy68.. First, a couple of what will probably be obvious things to check.
If yes to both, then I'm going to suggest that you un-publish your website and re-publish it. You can un-publish from your web dashboard > Online > Website > Site Preferences. The option to un-publish is near the bottom of that page.

Yes, channel is toggled for new categories and I have added, deleted and anything else I could think of for content to see if changes. Nothing changed.
I just tried unpublish and then republish. No change there either. Since this issue has begun, when in the website editor these categories do not show up. The one category I had deleted just to see if made a change is still showing as part of the site.
I can add items to categories that are there, except for the one that I deleted even though it shows on website/editor. Does not show in the site categories section
This is where I feel that there is some kind of snag within square algorithm that is preventing my categories from being created/deleted.

This has actually been going on for 4 days now.

Just for giggles, came back to computer after the above reply and reloaded web page and all was working as it should.
Again, thanks to the replies, appreciate all insight. We can only improve ourselves with help from others.
I've been having the same problem. Cleared cache, unpublished/republished website, refreshed (multiple times), recreated the category, logged out and back in (multiple times), restarted my computer, then shut down the computer and rebooted...NOTHING. The website will not show my other categories. I even tried changing the name and image of one that was showing and it's still showing the old name and image. I'm at the end of my rope. Any help is appreciated.
I have another ticket in with support for this. Not sure what issue kind of resolved itself, but my new categories showed up, but a couple that were deleted still show up.
The only thing I can recommend at this point is when logged in, click on support and send square support an email/message.
