Cash App Pay Square Invoice

Hello! Yesterday, I sent an invoice to a customer, and she paid it through Cash App Pay. However, when she finished, she received a message on the CashApp that said her payment is processing. On my end, the Square Invoices App is saying that she hasn’t paid, and there isn’t even a pending payment. It has almost been 24 hours. How long will it take her Cash App payment to process? And if I were to cancel her invoice, would it cancel the processing payment? I am thinking of canceling it and having her pay me through another form of payment so that I can receive it quicker.

Hi @zuriconnects.  This sounds like an issue with your customer’s Cash App account.  If your customer had looked at the help in the app, they would have seen the screen below.  From there they can chat with a customer service rep to hopefully resolve the issue.  You will not see this payment until it has actually been sent to you, and pending payments have not yet been sent to you.  Unfortunately, this is something between your customer and Cash App.  If you want, you should be able to tell them to cancel their payment and try paying another way.
