We are a non-profit organization that operates as a haunted house during the month of October. We are wanting to capture two bits of information about our guests as they purchase tickets using our POS register. How could we capture zip codes and ask the question "How did you hear about us?" at the end of every transaction? This will help us as we market for next years event.

Since Square's POS App is not a one size fits all application - one way to do what you have in mind is to use the Notes Field on the Item Page when you're checking out the customer. There you can enter any extra details you need. At the end of the day you can run an Item Detail Report. To see all the information at once, you can export the Report to a CSV file which will show you all the details including the Note Field. We often use the Export function to get more Report info and then use Excel to manage the data. There may be other ways as there is quite a bit of hands-on experience here in the Community.
