Can my team members clock in and out using RFID wristbands or badges?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: User id rfid recognition.

Hi, i was wondering if i can use my rfid and wristbands for staff to identify them and unlock the app.

So  2 ipads are running, they just tap their wristband and it then identifies them and allows the sale.

There is an option now available for team members to log into the square pos using RFID cards instead of PIN codes https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Product-Updates/New-Team-member-badges/ba-p/659531.

I should add however at this stage it is not available to merchants in Australia 🇦🇺.

As you mentioned you can tap on the reader to log into the staff members account to process sales.

Hey @imstuee, 👋

As Mobilebarn has mentioned, team member badges aren’t available in Australia yet, so in the meantime, team members will need to clock in/out at the Point of Sale using their 4-digit team member passcodes.

Alternatively, team members can clock in and out from the Square Team App on their phones. You’ll also have the ability to restrict your team members from clocking in early for their shift or on days when they’re not rostered to work.
