You cannot connect a Square reader directly to a non-Square POS system. Square card readers are designed to work exclusively with Square. However, if the application you want to use is listed in the Square App Marketplace, you can use it in combination with Square. You can learn more about integrating with 3rd party apps here in our Support Center.
