Can I sign a customer up to the loyalty programme after the transaction has finished?

Can i add a customer to the loyalty programme with just their mobile phone number after the transaction has been finished. For example, if the member of staff has mistakenly skipped the sign up part, and moved on to another customer?

Thanks for your question @derekdetroit20! I've moved your post to a different thread as it relates to our Square Loyalty programme. 

 

If the sign up step was skipped on the Square Point of Sale app, customers can scan a QR code and sign up to your Loyalty programme themselves. When a customer scans the QR code from their mobile device, they will be taken to an information collection page where they can provide their email address and/or phone number to enrol.

 

To download your QR code poster from your Square Dashboard:

  1. Go to Customers > Loyalty from your online Square Dashboard.

  2. Click LoyaltyPromotions > In-Store Loyalty Enrolment

  3. On the next page, customise your in-store signage > click Print

  4. Place the poster near your point of sale so customers can easily scan the QR during checkout.
