We want to add a "donate" sales item for which the customer can enter any amount.
Is this possible?
Ideally on both the Square Terminal and on our online store

I have an item called 'Donation' and predefined amounts as variations.
One of the variations is "open amount" with no price...but I see a warning that the variation will not be available until a price is added. Will try to test this shortly
You can for sure in POS but I do not think in online sales, Maybe someone else has an idea. To allow it for in-person sales all you have to do is not enter a price when you're setting up the item called donation. It will then ask you for an amount when you add the item to the sale.
