Can I reverse transactions without Square charging the item as a return?

I have made an error in recording several sales (incorrect tax applied). Is there a way to reverse those transactions without Square charging it as a return?

I don't think there's a way to reverse sales once they are complete without being marked as a return.  Sorry!

Am I the only person who thinks there's a distinction between a true return and an error in ringing up a transaction that you want to reverse?
