Can I put our logo onto our customer display screen?

I am setting up a new system and have the logo printing on the receipt, wondering if i can have it on the customer display

Hey @meanderstore,

 

I noticed it's your first post, welcome to our community 👋 

 

You can update the look of the customer facing display on your Square Register via your Dashboard:

 

  1. Go to your Account & Settings tab, and click Business > Locations > Select the location you'd like to update.
  2. Scroll down to Point of Sale checkout background and click the icon to upload an image.
  3. Click Save in the top right corner.
  4. Reboot your Square Register.

Thanks, that worked. But can I remove the business name off the screen in front of the logo?

It says i do not have permission to upload images. Is there another way to send it to you? It shows the logo behind and white words across the front of the logo

Hi, @meanderstore, hmm I'm not sure why you're unable to send photos through on this thread, I've not come across this issue before.

I don't have access to a Square Register currently to test this, but I've been unable to find any internal resources suggesting there are additional ways to edit your customer display other than what we've already shared above. 

It may be beneficial to reach out to our Support Team when they are back online on Monday, as they'll be able to confirm whether this is an option or not. You can call support on 1800 760 137 (Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm Melbourne time).

Our advice is to reach out to our Square Support team to troubleshoot this issue as we don't currently have access to the Square Register to replicate this behaviour on our end.

We're not sure what you mean when you say the business name is displayed in front of the logo. 

Are you able to send us a picture of this so that we can better assist you here?

Hi Laurie,

 

There is default text on the customer facing display that is the business name. 

So, when you upload an image for the C-F display, there is default text sitting in front of it. 

I have not been able to find a way to remove this text so we can just have our branded assets displayed on this screen without being overlayed with the default business name text. 

Any advice? This is the same issue being experienced by others commenting in the thread.

While I don't personally have any advice for the issue you've described, I can certainly flag this with our Square Register team and find someone who can.


We've asked a few other Sellers in this thread to send through a photo of the issue described so that we can forward this to our team and we are yet to receive one.

To help us out on our end, can you please send a photo of the Customer Display screen showing the default text sitting over the image as described?

Once received, I'll escalate this matter with our Square Register team.
