Hi, I am looking for a way to recreate the same loyalty program like Shopback where we reward 5% of the customer spending as store credit for them to redeem.
So, if they are spending $5, they will get $0.25 where they can use as a discount on their next purchase.

Currently, the Square Loyalty Program doesn't support an automatic cashback feature like the one you're describing. Though I do think it would be a fantastic addition! I recommend visiting the Ideate Board to check if there's an existing feature request for this. If you find one, please add your support in the comments. If not, feel free to create a new request.
For in-person orders, you might consider using a manual approach. You can add a variable discount to your Point of Sale system, which allows you to manually apply a 5% discount based on a customer's previous purchase. This process involves reviewing the customer's prior transaction and calculating the discount manually. Unfortunately, this method isn't applicable for online sales, so I suggest exploring Square Marketing Vouchers as a potential solution for online transactions.
Alternatively, you might want to explore different reward programs within Square Loyalty. For example, you could set up a program where customers earn points for spending a certain amount, which can then be redeemed for a percentage discount.
