Hi, I'm using Android Google pixel fold 9 to do tap and pay. Every time I enter amount and then press tap to pay, my phone comes up with a notification "camera usage detected, close all apps". Even when no other apps are open it does the same so I cannot continue to take payment. Anyone know how to stop this?
Hi folks - Sorry for the delay and appreciate your patience. We have a fix for this that will start rolling out from tomorrow and everyone should have access by mid-next week. Make sure you update your device to 6.82 if you haven't done so already.
Perfect! Thanks 👍
Still an issue. I found the solution to be to grant Camera permission to the app. I also disabled "Manage app if unused" to prevent the permission from being automatically revoked. Also, please let us use Tap to Pay while the device is unfolded. The tablet UI is perfect for my use case! Or perhaps, let us use the mobile view on the cover screen while it's unfolded, so that the Square app and NFC reader for the phone are right next to each other.

I confirm it works now. It took almost 2 months.
I still get the error. I just cleared cache, removed all data, forced stopped it, and uninstalled. Reinstalled the app, logged in and tried to charged with tap to pay and still getting the error. Unfortunately I tried the steps provided above and still had no success. I am on version 6.82
