I'm using the new Square Connector by Quickbooks. Started pulling transactions in from September, all seemed well only had one that didn't get pulled in. October has come and have numerous transactions 25+ that have not pulled in. Reached out to Quickbooks and they are saying this is a Square issue as they are not receiving said data for those transactions.
Hi there @Minion 👋,
I completely understand how frustrating it is when transactions don’t sync properly — especially when everything was working fine before.
This usually happens when there’s a temporary sync delay or data mismatch between Square and QuickBooks Online. Since QuickBooks relies on Square’s daily summary or transaction export, if even a small connection hiccup occurs (like an expired token or a minor update to the Square Connector), some transactions may fail to pull through.
Here’s what you can do to fix it:
1️⃣ Reconnect your Square account in QuickBooks Connector — this refreshes the data link.
2️⃣ Check your sync settings under Sales > Square Connector > Settings and make sure the correct date range and account mappings are selected.
3️⃣ Manually re-sync by selecting “Sync now” to pull in any missed transactions.
4️⃣ If a few still don’t appear, you can export those specific transactions manually from your Square Dashboard and import them into QuickBooks.
Normally, once reconnected, all missed data should appear within a few hours.
If you’d like, I can walk you through the steps one-by-one — just send me a DM and we’ll sort it out together.

Thanks @Yhunglly09 . I was hoping to avoid the disconnecting aspect of it as now I'll have to go through the duplicate transactions but I suppose it is better than no transactions right!? I just disconnected and reconnected the connection this morning, waiting for the transactions to pull in from this month. QB actually got rid of the manual refresh option with the new QBo>Square connector (stupid move) on their part as this will become quite troublesome if this is a consistent issue have to disconnect/reconnect every couple of months.
I'll update here once everything syncs again.
Thank you
Actually that didn't work. I lost my cash transactions that were still for review from September, and it pulled in no transactions from this month (October)
@Minion You’re absolutely right — it’s definitely frustrating to have to disconnect and reconnect just to get things moving again, especially knowing it can cause duplicates later on. I totally get why you were trying to avoid that
You did the right thing though. Hopefully, the sync catches up and brings in everything from this month soon.
And yes, I agree — removing the manual refresh option wasn’t the best call. It really helped in cases like this where the data just stalls.
Once everything syncs, it should stabilize again. But if you notice any duplicate entries or anything off, just let me know here or send me a quick DM — I can help you go through cleanup steps without losing anything important.
Appreciate you updating the thread too — it really helps others who might run into the same issue.
