Bluetooth printer is paired with iPad but not appearing as a printer option in Square

I'm having trouble getting Square to recognize a Star Micronics bluetooth printer as an available printer in Square when using an iPad.  The device is connected to the iPad in the Settings of the OS but not appearing when I try to create a printer station.  Anyone else had trouble with this?  Support at Star Micronics seemed to think it was an issue with Square, not the printer itself.

Sorry to hear about the troubles, @spielmanbagels!

 

Do you know which Star Micronics printer it is? There are quite a few, and not all of them are compatible with all of our hardware. Once you track down which printer you have, take a look at our hardware compatibility page to confirm that your printer is compatible with the device you're currently using to accept payments with.
