Attempting to migrate third party gift cards to square

For over a month now I have been trying to migrate my third party gift cards to square. When first inquiring the process seemed very simple. Order gift cards from square, send them your CSV file from you previous POS and then they well migrate them. Unfortunately this has not been my experience. After a month of live chats and being left hanging through several emails the problem has still not be solved. They will tell me it has successfully been uploaded then I will go to check and see that it hasn’t, then they will notice an error and have no idea how to solve it. Yesterday I was on the phone for 4.5 hrs trying to solve this problem only to be given a case number and told they would contact through email. After replying to the email… I never heard back.  Today I was on a call for 2.5 hrs only to be hung up on and never contacted again. This isn’t the kind of comment I would typically write, but at this point I have had enough. If anyone has any advice on how to do this or any work arounds please help.

I am personally sorry to hear about this experience. Looking at this closer the process has been completed on our end but if you're still having this problem then I will recommend having this looked into by our Advanced Support team so they can escalate it if necessary. I know you have been on several phone calls but hopefully, this will be the last one. 

 

As a heads up you will most likely need to provide them with gift card examples so they can test this internally.

 

I hope this is solved soon.

Hi JJ, I appreciate the reply. Unfortunately this problem has yet to be resolved and I am having a heard time getting connected to anyone. Is there anything you may be able to do to move this along? Unfortunately we are unable to use square until this issue is resolved.
