Appointments widget, missing sign-in option.

Hi,

Loving the new appointments feature in the UK, just what I needed, will be even better with more seamless integration with Square Online, I'm sure that's coming, but for now, THANK YOU.

I have a little snag, the widget preview shows a sign-in button, this is not appearing on the website, can you help with this?

Kind regards

Simon.

Very glad to hear you're liking Square Appointments so far @SR_!

This is a great question. I checked with our Appointments Team and they confirmed that if your browser settings are blocking cookies you won't see the option to sign in (the same would be true for a client who also had also blocked cookies).

Keep in mind that there is a difference between blocking 'all cookies' and blocking

'third-party cookies':

  • If all cookies are blocked, clients will not see the option to sign in.
  • If only third-party cookies are blocked you will see the option to sign in if you open the booking site in a new window, (but not if it’s embedded into your website).

This article has some information about how to manage cookies on Chrome - you could review and bookmark to share with clients if they're having trouble. I hope this helps!
