Any one else’s customers get a virus warning when they try to go on your website I have had 2 customers message me saying they have a virus warning on my website
Unfortunately false positives happen, and when it does it's the antivirus companies that have to correct their alerts (sounds like they did this pretty fast!) rather than Square being able to do anything (as not something wrong their end).
It's really frustrating that it happens at all, as from a customers perspective they see the website as an extension of us without an understanding of all the other companies we use to support in the background.
Hi @Susanmarie22, welcome to the Seller Community.
Thanks for flagging this here. I haven't heard of any cases like this before with Square online sites.
Have you ensured that SSL is still active on your site? Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypts the data that goes from a user’s computer to your Square Online site and back, making the data exchange secure.
If your SSL is no longer active, you would be seeing a 'site not secure' message beside your domain in the URL bar.
Feel free to share a link to your site here and I can take a look.
Yes! Well not my customers but me myself. I went to visit my own shop and AVG blocked it on both Chrome and Safari. It says the threat is: Script:SNH-gen [Trj]
This only started last night for me.

I thought that might be the case... I only posted in case it was a Square / Weebly wide issue.
Thanks for the reply
And suddenly it's all ok again 🤔
I am currently having this issue. Saying SSL certificate expired (given that Square supply this and my website is only 6 months old I am somewhat frustrated!) www.campfiredesigns.co.uk
Expired SSL certificate is a totally different issue and doesn't immediately imply a virus threat. Probably better in it's own topic.
oh sorry 😞 I am new to all this .
Shall l start another topic?
and
No worries at all @campfire_design, I have replied here 🙂
