Any changes to items does not take.

I erase and item or turn on the tax on the item and press save, but 2 seconds later everything I just did returns to what it previously was. If I erase an item, it appears again. If I turn on the tax it turns off again. Please help

Hey @Maggiestx. That sounds frustrating, for sure. Are you trying to make the changes on a desktop/laptop or on the POS app from your phone/device? Let me know so I can point you in the right direction for troubleshooting.

Also, is your Square connected to an external website such as Wordpress with WooCommerce?  If you have an external website set to be the authority for inventory items, any changes you make in Square could get overwritten by that external website.
