After entering a split tender it still shows up in tickets

Verified that the payment went through and was deposited, but still shows as an open ticket.

can you add some more. context?  what hardware you are using, what Square software, etc

Because once you take payment for an open ticket it becomes a transaction and is no longer an open ticket at least in Square POS.

I am using the Square stand with iPad.

I call up a ticket, click to charge, then click to split amount, record a payment from two different sources, say credit card and cash.  Once complete, it shows up in the transactions list and lets me add in a tip, if one was given.  When all of that is done, it still shows up in the list of open tickets.  The transaction is included in the days balance transferred to the bank.  This has been working correctly for the past seven years and just in the last couple of weeks it has started this behaviour.

That sounds weird as I have never had that happen either.  maybe it is something to do with tips

I'd say this seems to be a quirk in the system and the best way to get more direct help is to call support as they can see your transactions and account and even an event log so they should be able to troubleshoot it better for you.

I just did a test on a ticket I created and then saved and then opened on my square terminal.  opened the $700 ticket and it was $600 cash and $100 CC.  everything went as normal and the open ticket was instantly gone and the transaction showed up.

If you have deleted and reinstalled the app, and it is up-to-date. I would as @VANKALKERFARMS mentioned contact support, so we can investigate this further. That does sound like a buggy 🙁
