Hello,
I need to be able to add shipping as an option on my Square webpage.
However, despite following the online guides by using Settings>Shipping and providing Regions, this does not translate across to my live website?
I would be grateful for a step-by-step guide please.
My site has been online for over a year but now with lockdown 3.0 being extended, I am desperate to offer shipping as local collection is not an option.

Hey @MACXE, I'm glad to hear that the shipping is coming up as option for you now!
With shipping, the fee would only appear once the shipping information has been entered at checkout. This is to make sure that you can ship to the customer's address.
If you have entered all the shipping information at checkout and the fee is still not coming up, can you send me a link to your website? I can definitely take a further look here on my end since it might be a different issue.
@MACXE Hi. Have you set Shipping as your fulfilment method. You can check / edit at:
From dashboard select Online
Go to Settings / Item settings
Scroll down to Default item fulfilment
Check it is set to Shipping
If not, you can hit Edit and select it

Hi @MACXE, the default item fulfilment applied to newly added items so you might want to also update fulfilment method for existing items! To do that quickly, you can go to your Square Dashboard > Online > Items > Items Library.
Here, if you check all the items > Bulk Edit, you can set their fulfilment method to Shipping.

I followed your below instructions and in fareness, I did have all three options ticked. I unticked the bottom option, saved the changes and cleared my cache (just to be sure).
However, I am still only being provided by the collect option (as shown below)?
Am I missing something?

@MACXE I’m not sure if this would work but I’d try unticking Pickup to leave just Shipping, Save and see if that gave you you the correct result. If so, you could try re-adding Pickup if you still need that too.

Hello @tranguyen , I really appreciated the screen prints and step-by-step guide.
I followed the instructions and I now have shipping!
Now, despite setting my shipping regions and rates then, check all the items > Bulk Edit, you can set their fulfilment method to Shipping (as instructed), my cart does not show shipping costs?
So, I now offer shipping but I am unable to charge for it?
I would be very grateful for a solution to this new dilemma?

I tried a transaction as a customer and found the shipping charge is added just before payment!

@tranguyen How are shipping charges dealt with if a customer orders from a country which I haven’t set a shipping rate for.

If you don't have that country set up, it'll give them an error stating you don't ship to that address.
