Add Sku and customer details to the receipt

These are two obvious features that would help business using square a lot. 

After a receipt is print and at the end of the day the staff looking at a receipt would know exactly what item and who made the purchase. But now looking at a printer receipt i can not tell who made the purchase or what item it is. I have multi items with the same name, the thing that lets me know which item it is, it the Sku#. I have 1000's of items and it makes it very difficult and slow to lookup and items from a receipt.

Hi @jewelcam, thanks for reaching out! I’d like to get a better understanding so I can help. Just to confirm, were you previously able to see the SKU or item details on the receipt and now they’re missing? If possible, could you share a photo of what you’re seeing on your end?

hi No the option to show the Sku# on the receipt is not avaible. I can currently see the item name and retail price i would like to also dispaly the sku#. it would be nice if i had a tab i could check to display to sku# to be displayed on the receipt.

Thanks for following up @jewelcam. At this time, this would be considered a feature request. You can add it to our Ideate Board so other sellers can share their input as well. In the meantime, you can add that information to your notes on the transaction. That’s the best workaround I can suggest for now. Let me know if you have any further questions about how our notes feature works. Just a heads up, I also edited the title of this post to make it clearer.

Thanks for sharing the thread. Just to confirm, did you submit it on Ideate as well? I may have missed it, but I didn’t see one there. I know waiting for features to be implemented can be frustrating. At this time, there aren’t any additional updates on these requests, but if anything changes we’ll make sure to update the Ideate Board submission.
