Account doesn't give and option to renew or extend my domain. It only says cancel. How can I renew?

Account doesn't give and option to renew or extend my domain. My subscription had expired and I renewed that, b ut it's not allowing me to renew my domain. How can I fix this problem?

Hey @ByChinaLee. If I understand you, you renewed your Square Online subscription for your website, but you are not being allowed to extend the lease on your domain name.

 

If your subscription expired, most likely your domain lease had expired, too.  You don’t mention how long it had been expired, but usually after 30 days the domain is released and anyone can claim it.  If someone else bought it while it was expired, there is nothing you can do, now, except use a different domain name.

 

If you would post your domain name, I (as a fellow seller) can use tools I have to check the status of your domain.  Depending on what I find, you’ll most likely need to call Square Support, if there is even anything you can do now.
